Sales Account Executive for KEXY

We are a Techstars portfolio company and are looking to hire an experienced sales executive to join our startup and help drive company growth at KEXY.

In this position, you will be involved in executing business development and sales strategies, maintaining customer relations, and creating sales reports.

KEXY is a data-driven multisided platform revolutionizing the food and beverage industry. We are reimagining commerce between restaurants, distributors, and brands. Through KEXY, sales and marketing teams can reach decision-makers directly, ensuring the right products reach the right people at the right time while simultaneously providing restaurants with intuitive tools to improve operational efficiencies. This is a rare and exciting chance to be a part of an industry-changing company preparing for global expansion.

Our team is growing fast, and we need a seasoned and hungry sales guru to help scale our efforts. You'll report directly to the CEO and work with a cross-functional team. We're looking for a person who doesn't mind getting their hands dirty, is highly motivated, and fierce.

Responsibilities:  

  • Create detailed sales business plans
  • Set and manage sales goals and quotas
  • Manage the entire sales cycle
  • Assist in finding prospects and leads
  • Identify new sales opportunities
  • Build strong client relationships
  • Identify opportunities to up-see and cross-sell
  • Provide customer support when needed
  • Learn new product and services features and benefits
  • Provide professional after-sales support
  • Respond to complaints and resolve issues to ensure customer success and satisfaction
  • Prepare and present reports on KPIs

What We’re Looking for in You:

  • Bachelors or Masters in marketing, business, communications, journalism, or related discipline is preferred
  • Experience selling enterprise SaaS/B2B products
  • Excellent grammar, punctuation, and spelling skills
  • Experience/consistent performance in deadline-oriented environments
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and juggle priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to work productively with counterparts in a cross-functional capacity
  • Entrepreneurial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to deliver it to them

Compensation:

  • Hourly rate ($15 - $25 PLUS commission

Marketing Director for KEXY

We are looking to hire an experienced Marketing Director to join our startup and help drive company brand awareness and revenues at KEXY.

In this position, you will be involved in overseeing the development and implementation of marketing strategies, and with guiding the team that executes them.  We’re looking for a highly skilled marketing director to help us promote our offerings, and identify what consumers want so we can create more. Our ideal candidate will have extensive marketing experience and a comprehensive knowledge of branding.  They should be able to effectively lead a team of writers, designers, and account managers, and interact with clients on a regular basis. If you have an understanding of what makes people tick and want to deliver solutions that make a difference, we would love to meet you.

Objectives of this Role

  • Collaborate with the business team to uncover insights and strategies to develop and implement marketing and branding strategies for new and existing products, internally and externally
  • Oversee and grow the marketing department, consistently identifying revenue opportunities within our established client base and managing consistent growth by securing new accounts
  • Identify short-term and long-term scheduling, budget, and resource needs, including the development and management of an annual marketing budget, profit/loss projections, expenditure spending, and other financial considerations
  • Understand key marketing performance metrics and tracking tools to provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends in order to translate results into actionable insights for marketing team

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of our marketing plans working closely with clients, management, creative and content teams, and distribution partners, to create an effective and efficient marketing strategy focused on growing audiences for our products and services
  • Spearhead the strategic and tactical execution of marketing campaigns, including design of test/control segmentation, implementation of tests, tracking, results reporting, analysis, and recommendations
  • Manage conception, development, and implementation of marketing plan and strategies, product concepts, and promotional programs to drive interest and sales
  • Hold regular meetings with account managers to review pipeline, resolve challenges, and present possible solutions, and provide ongoing training to ensure team consistently performs above standard
  • Attend and/or participate at conventions, conferences, and tradeshows, preparing engaging displays and collateral as needed, and providing post-event reports and analysis

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications
  • Successful track record in senior marketing roles and creating marketing campaigns
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Experience with digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
  • Proven ability to plan and manage budgets

Preferred Qualifications

  • Startup experience
  • Proficiency with HTML, content management systems, and design software
  • Established portfolio of media and PR contacts
  • Desire to grow professionally with ongoing education

Executive Assistant for KEXY

At KEXY, we thrive when our people thrive. We are currently looking for an executive assistant to be the supportive force that empowers our senior leadership. The ideal person for the job will be a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills and a meticulous attention to detail.  The CEO is a 4x founder, visionary minded, intense, but fair and respectful.  He is wanting someone who can adapt to how he thinks and is essentially an extension of him.  We are currently participating in the prestigious Techstars program right now.

You should have previous experience working in an office environment, performing administrative duties and providing support to management. Given the changing nature of the startup landscape, we rely on our assistants for flexibility and foresight, while maintaining confidences related to high-level systems and operations.

Objectives of this Role

  • With a primary responsibility of supporting the CEO, provide support to the executive team as directed to ensure that company goals and objectives are accomplished, and operations run efficiently
  • Maintain and refine internal processes that support to the highest-ranking executives company-wide, coordinating internal and external resources to expedite workflow
  • Manage communication between upper management and employees, liaising with internal and external executives on various projects and tasks
  • Plan and orchestrate work to ensure the senior executives’ priorities are met, organizational goals are achieved, and best practices are upheld

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Manage professional and personal scheduling for CEO, including agendas, mail, email, calls, travel arrangements, client management, and other company logistics
  • Coordinate complex scheduling and extensive calendar management, as well as management of content and flow of information to senior executives
  • Manage, coordinate, and arrange senior executives’ travel and travel-related activities, including hotel booking, transportation, and meal coordination
  • Perform administrative and office support, such as typing, dictation, spreadsheet creation, faxing, and maintenance of filing system and contact database
  • Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality with all materials, and exercise discretion when interfacing with the business
  • Organize team communications and plan events, both internally and offsite

Skills and Qualifications

  • 4 years experience in administrative role reporting directly to upper management
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time-management skills and the ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects at once
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office productivity tools, with aptitude to learn new software and systems
  • Flexible team player willing to do what it takes to get the job done; adaptable and enjoys a challenge
  • Ability to keep company confidences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with C-level executives
  • Experience working with startups 
  • Experience developing internal processes and filing systems
